This is a genuine fossilised sharks Tooth from the species Odotus. As sharks are predominantly soft-bodied creatures only the teeth and back bone are generally preserved. This Sharks Tooth dates from the paleocene to eocene period and is around 50 million years old it was discovered on the Khouribga Plateau Morocco. The teeth are found during local phosphate mining.
